Director of Policy and Partnerships
position in the Office of Workforce Development (OWD). This position will be responsible for coordinating policy, guidance and partnership efforts across the workforce division. This position is located at the TCSG System Office in Atlanta at 1800 Century Place, Atlanta, GA 30345. RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the development, analysis, and implementation of workforce development policies, strategies, and initiatives aligned with state and federal priorities; Serves as the primary liaison for workforce-related policy matters with state and federal agencies, legislators, and regulatory bodies; Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with employers, education providers, workforce boards, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders; Monitors federal and state legislation, regulations, and guidance impacting workforce programs and prepares policy briefs, recommendations, and implementation guidance; Coordinates cross-agency collaboration to align workforce, education, and economic development efforts; Oversees partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding, and interagency collaborations to ensure compliance and effectiveness; Provides technical assistance and guidance to local workforce areas and partner organizations on policy interpretation and implementation; Oversees the division response and coordination of complaints and open records requests; Supervises assigned staff and manages related projects and initiatives, as applicable; Evaluates program and partnership outcomes and recommends continuous improvement strategies; Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree

five (5) years of work-related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Public Administration or the equivalent Five (5) years of direct WIOA or federal grant experience Knowledge of federal and state workforce legislation and regulations (e.g., WIOA) TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Workforce development policy analysis and implementation Strategic partnership development and stakeholder engagement Government and intergovernmental coordination Program planning, evaluation, and performance management Decision making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of compliance structures and complaint processes Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives Skill in interpersonal relations with public, private, and nonprofit partners PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK CONDITIONS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. Limited remote work may be available in accordance with agency policy and operational needs. Work performance involves light physical duties, including intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Employees must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds Applications will be accepted until February 23, 2026.
