MUST LIVE IN HOUSTON AREA OR RELOCATE Lead operational strategy and performance for 11 Pegasus Senior Living communities across Texas as Independent Regional Director of Operations. Partner with Executive Directors to drive census growth, financial results, and regulatory compliance while developing high-performing teams. Serve as strategic advisor and hands‑on problem‑solver, traveling extensively to coach leaders, optimize operations, and ensure exceptional resident care across a geographically diverse portfolio.

Highly competitive compensation package features substantial base salary plus lucrative performance bonus plan tied to occupancy, financial metrics, and operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, financial performance, and quality standards across diverse senior living communities spanning two major markets. Partner with Executive Directors to optimize occupancy, enhance resident satisfaction, and develop high-performing leadership teams. Lead operational audits, ensure state and federal compliance, and implement corporate initiatives while adapting strategies to meet unique community needs.

Core Impact Areas: Lead P&L oversight for multi‑million‑dollar portfolio, directly influencing revenue growth and expense management. Champion staff development and succession planning across 11 leadership teams. Serve as primary escalation point for operational challenges, crisis management, and stakeholder relations. Drive census growth through operational improvements that enhance reputation and resident retention.

Bonus incentives directly reward occupancy gains, financial targets, and operational KPIs.

Strategic Leadership: Balance corporate objectives with community‑level autonomy, traveling regularly between properties to provide coaching, identify operational gaps, and celebrate successes. Build strong relationships with families, residents, and local healthcare partners while representing Pegasus Senior Living's mission and values across the region.
