Job Title Interior Designer - Healthcare
Location Orlando, FL (Hybrid 3 - 4 days remote)
We are helping an award-winning architecture firm with offices in Orlando, Philadelphia, and New York. Nationally recognized for their healthcare, corporate research and corporate and advanced technology projects.
Job Responsibilities
Develop designs that are practical, aesthetic and conducive to intended purposes.
Oversees and contributes to interior design contract and presentation documents in all project phases.
Present design solutions to clients and teams.
Fosters and maintains relationships with clients.
Establishes and develops expertise in particular field or area of interior design.
Leads and coordinates team of both in-house designers and architects and outside consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Provides mentoring, training, and support to entry and mid-level interior designers.
Prepares, issues, and reviews bids for furniture procurement.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in interior design from accredited institution
Understands and implements market sector codes and requirements (i.e. Healthcare, Corporate Interiors, S&T, etc.)
Minimum 8 years relevant experience with at least 3 years of experience in healthcare
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent client management and leadership skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills
Excellent time and project management skills with strong follow up.
Ability to plan, organize, motivate, mentor, direct and evaluate the work of others.
Able to take direction as well as lead others.
Strong finish material knowledge and application
NCIDQ certification
