The Role
Porter position is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in the venue. Services to include assistance in setting up and/or breaking down functions periodically or as needed.

Responsibilities
Wash all china, glass, and silverware.
Clean all equipment, pots, and pans pre, during, and post‑event.
Store all equipment in proper locations.
Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen/office areas.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training.
Transport food and equipment throughout the venue as needed.
Monitor cleaning supply stock levels per venue needs.
Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
Perform and assist with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility.
Ensure that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
Assist with deliveries and stocking storeroom and side stations.
Assist members in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties as assigned by the Chef.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests
Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
Must be punctual and dependable
Must maintain personal hygiene and a well‑groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards
Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting
Pay rate $21-$22 per hour
