The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) is seeking a Digital Communications Manager to develop and deploy a full suite of digital story-telling across platforms to grow support for strategic American engagement in the world.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in social media management and graphic design to articulate and amplify our message – from building digital campaigns that influence key policymakers on Capitol Hill and the Administration, to creative social media content, videos, and invitations for high-profile events that drive engagement.
Through 30 years of education and advocacy, USGLC’s nationwide coalition of bipartisan political, military, business, and nonprofit leaders have come together to highlight the strategic imperative of U.S. global leadership to build a safer world and a stronger America (watch 30 years in 3 minutes here ). Responsibilities Include
Social media and content creation
– Develop and implement targeted strategies and content across social media platforms, including X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, that advance USGLC’s mission, increase reach and drive engagement. Monitor and engage with key stakeholders, validators, and coalition members across platforms, and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and impact.
Graphic design and branding
– Design and produce branded content, in partnership with internal teams and external vendors, that tells USGLC’s story, including digital invitations, reports, marketing materials, and other communications that deliver a thoughtful and consistent brand experience across all channels.
Visual support and multimedia projects
– Manage photo and videography coverage, in concert with external vendors and internal team, by designing, capturing, editing, and archiving photos and videos.
Strategic planning
– Create and maintain a digital content calendar to support short- and long‑term planning that is integrated with broader communications and organizational priorities.
Position Requirements
Minimum of three years of experience in social media content creation and strategy, graphic design, digital storytelling, and broader digital communications.
Demonstrated success in growing social media audiences and engagement through data‑driven strategies.
Proficiency with social media analytics tools to track performance and inform content strategy.
Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to translate complex foreign policy issues into clear, accessible content and cohesive design.
Ability to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
Expertise with design and content tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Collaborative, organized, and adaptable team player, quick to share responsibility and credit alike.
Preferred Skills
Tailored paid social media targeting and amplification campaigns.
Knowledge of platform algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends.
Content calendar development and management.
Photo and videography, editing, and archiving.
Livestream & AV production management.
Compensation A projected salary range of
$55,000 – $65,000
will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The USGLC also provides a package of benefits, including health and disability insurance, retirement plan, paid annual and sick leave and federal holidays.
