
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Under the general supervision of the Team Leader and Director of Sports Medicine and the clinical supervision of individual physical therapists, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides treatment according to a physical therapy plan of care. The PTA treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. The PTA, Sports Medicine provides physical therapy interventions for a patient population comprised predominantly of active individuals with orthopedic conditions. Minimum Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Healthcare or a related field. State of Ohio licensure as an physical therapy assistant. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
