As a Golf Cart Attendant at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, you're not just parking cartsyou're delivering first-class service with a smile, meeting guests from all over the country, and working steps away from championship fairways and coastal views. Trade four walls for fresh air and make every shift feel like a day at the resort. General Purpose: A Resort golf cart attendant is responsible for assisting guests at their rental property as they operate golf cart associated with their unit. Your job duties include checking the carts after check-out and ensuring that they are returned in good working condition. This is a seasonal position. Job Requirements: Explaining the golf cart functionality, and any other pertinent information regarding the carts to guests and members Ensure the carts are fully charged, clean and functional on a daily basis Inspect carts daily, report and document any damages to the vehicle Move golf carts throughout the Resort as needed Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to get in and out of a vehicle at least 50 times or more daily Perform in a manner that demonstrates exceptional customer service Other duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Basic Required Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. Requires good, clear, communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years. Physical Demands: Most work tasks are performed primarily outdoors in the natural environment cold, heat, rain, high humidity. Some indoor tasks involved as well. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50-100 lbs. as needed on a daily basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
