As the
Senior Predictive Modeling Manager , you will play a crucial role within our Strategic Consulting Team, spearheading the development and innovation of predictive modeling services, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and energy modeling. You will lead a talented team, setting high technical standards, promoting best practices, and ensuring excellence in service to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to CFD and energy modeling teams. Collaborate with team leads to create performance expectations and growth opportunities. Enhance team performance through effective resource planning and alignment meetings. Foster a culture of continuous learning through engaging training programs.
Predictive Modeling & Project Execution:
Oversee predictive modeling projects to ensure quality and alignment with financial objectives. Serve as a technical expert throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning. Perform quantitative analyses and design optimizations for system performance. Conduct stakeholder presentations of modeling studies, including CFD and energy simulations.
Standards & Process Optimization:
Establish and uphold best practices and technical modeling standards. Implement software solutions to enhance modeling quality and efficiency. Coordinate effectively with engineering and construction teams to integrate standards.
Industry Leadership & Business Development:
Represent the company at conferences and through publications as a thought leader. Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. Contribute to project engagement strategies and execution plans.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Stay informed of industry trends and technologies to keep the team at the forefront of predictive modeling. Validate data inputs, calibrate models, and simulate scenarios for system assessments. Enhance modeling efficiency through scripting and automation tools.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; relevant experience may substitute for degree. Minimum of 10 years of experience in predictive modeling and mechanical design, particularly in mission-critical and data center projects. Proven leadership experience managing cross-disciplinary design teams. Strong proficiency with CFD software and energy modeling tools. Advanced understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics. Familiarity with relevant AEC software. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience with various facility types, such as healthcare, research labs, and large venues.
