About the Role
Pool and Spa Depot is seeking a reliable and motivated
Porter
to support daily store operations in our Huntsville location. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers while supporting inventory and store needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys hands‑on work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor areas, including hot tubs, spas, pools, and surrounding spaces.
Assist customers by helping carry and load purchases as needed.
Support incoming inventory by unpacking, organizing, pricing, and stocking merchandise efficiently.
Ensure the store consistently meets cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and enhance the customer experience.
Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and maintain overall store appearance.
Qualifications & Skills
Outgoing and customer-friendly attitude.
Strong attention to detail and proactive work style.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to varying conditions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to
50 lbs .
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Willingness to work overtime as needed based on business demands.
