Solutions Architect - Media & Broadcast Systems

Join our dynamic File Based Solutions team as a Solutions Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Evertz's clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management. In this exciting position, you will have the opportunity to design, architect, and document customized solutions for Evertz's end-to-end enterprise systems in the vibrant broadcast and media industry. We seek a talented individual who can translate client objectives into effective technical implementations utilizing Evertz's comprehensive range of hardware, software, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with account managers to define and document detailed project scopes.
Provide innovative solution designs, including equipment selection and systems architecture, refining these throughout the design process for precision.
Engage with clients and internal teams to conduct impactful demonstrations and create proof of concept systems as needed.
Align with internal resources, client representatives, and third-party collaborators to address current and future business and technical needs.
Lead proposal creation and enhancements, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive and accurate for submissions.
Identify potential project risks proactively and collaborate with clients as well as internal teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Create thorough design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.
Build and maintain customer relationships, expanding Evertz’s reach in the industry.
Act as the technical authority throughout all project phases, including design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and ongoing support.
Travel to client sites as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in designing and managing the full lifecycle of client-facing enterprise projects.
Proven track record in file-based broadcast, production, post-production, and related workflows across the media landscape.
Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Excellent problem-solving abilities coupled with strong communication skills.
Results-driven mentality with self-motivation and a collaborative attitude.
Familiarity with BXF and standard traffic solutions prevalent in the industry.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in deploying file-based workflow solutions.
Solid understanding of broadcast IT and associated network infrastructures.
Expertise in application integration with business systems utilizing XML as an interchange format.
Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file formats.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
