The Lead Product Owner for Interoperability plays a crucial role in translating product vision and roadmaps into actionable steps for an Agile delivery team by outlining user stories and managing the product backlog. With a focus on enhancing the value of Interoperability products developed by the Agile team, this position involves collaborating closely with stakeholders and the development team to ensure that the right product is built efficiently, within budget, and on schedule. The Lead Product Owner provides strategic guidance to executives on vital functional strategies, employing independent judgment to navigate complex issues without close supervision. Engage your analytical skills and leadership qualities to define the most effective course of action. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead Scrum team(s) through essential SAFe Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and more.

Conduct quarterly on-site PI Planning sessions to optimize team efficiency.

Create and enhance user stories while maintaining a well-organized backlog to ensure steady workflow for development members.

Efficiently prioritize and assign tasks based on Humana's Lean Portfolio Management strategy.

Manage technical relationships with external partners, ensuring clear communication between all stakeholders for timely delivery of solutions.

Facilitate internal communications among various teams, including IT Directors and Solution Architects, for seamless project execution.

Proactively identify and remove blockers that may hinder technical solution delivery.

Drive discussions and collaborate with other Humana teams to achieve overarching product goals.

Ensure product delivery timelines align with both Humana's and partners' strategic objectives.

Translate High Level Architecture into actionable work breakdown for development and implementation.

Stay informed about Interoperability regulations and compliance to distill requirements for development teams.

Maximize value of deliverables from the Agile teams.

Develop expertise across multiple Interoperability Product Areas.

Share acquired knowledge with colleagues to foster a culture of learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

In-depth experience and understanding of Clinical Utilization Management, Care Management, and Medical Authorizations.

Proven ability to lead diverse internal and external cross-functional teams.

5+ years of experience within the software development life cycle (SDLC) in healthcare product solutions or similar fields.

Experience with Data Movement solutions including APIs, SFTPs, and Streaming Services.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving priorities.

Intuitive understanding of user experience to craft effective and user-friendly solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with various Data Storage environments, including relational and unstructured databases.

Knowledge or experience with HL7 FHIR formatting.

Experience in monitoring and logging solutions for enhanced data transparency.

SQL querying experience or proficiency with analytical software for data set evaluation.

Experience with Healthcare Interoperability, Electronic Medical Records, and/or Electronic Notifications.

Understanding of CMS Risk Adjustment and Quality Measure Reporting.

Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scenarios and data collection.

Strategic and operational background in relevant fields.

Performance-driven mindset focused on high-quality technology product delivery.

SAFe PO/PM certification is a plus.

Experience in Data Governance and/or Data Stewardship.

Travel: This role is primarily remote; however, occasional travel to Humana's office for meetings or training may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: This compensation range is a good faith estimate for full-time (40 hours per week) employment and may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications. $115,200 - $158,400 per year. The position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
