The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the cloud implementation strategy within our IT infrastructure. This position tackles diverse challenges, demonstrating both technical expertise and strategic thinking. Leverage your skills to create a significant impact Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on Azure cloud and virtualization architecture and IaaS, as well as PaaS and SaaS solutions like Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.

Develop and maintain a robust library of deployable, tested, and documented automation designs and procedures.

Facilitate DevOps activities and complex development projects using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Provide advanced system administration and operational support for our expansive Azure cloud environment.

Design and implement automated workflows for provisioning cloud and virtual environments.

Carry out production changes during scheduled maintenance periods and participate in an on-call rotation.

Manage buildouts, software deployments, and maintenance within cloud computing and virtual environments.

Create and update documentation for operational processes and procedures.

Architect and develop business-oriented cloud infrastructure solutions.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.), or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 5 years in IT systems installation, administration, and maintenance of cloud and virtualized servers.

Strong understanding of infrastructure design, including servers, operating systems, networks, and storage components.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills, vital for working with distributed teams.

Hands-on scripting experience in Shell, PowerShell, Python, Java, etc.

Proficient in Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Kubernetes, GitHub, and configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

Experience with Databricks administration.

Proficient in using Docker and Kubernetes for container management.

Knowledgeable in modern big data processes and API-based web services.

Experienced in architecting resilient environments for 24/7 operations.

Ability to adhere to a defined production change control process.

Relevant experience with IaaS, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure.

Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining composure under pressure.

A strong passion for improving consumer experiences within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in a relevant field.

Work-from-Home Requirements: Home or hybrid associates must maintain an internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds; wired connections are preferred.

Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be used with prior approval.

Associates residing in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly internet expense payment.

Humana will provide necessary telephone equipment to meet job requirements.

Work from a dedicated space that ensures privacy and protection of member PHI and HIPAA information.

Some travel may be required for training or meetings. Scheduled weekly hours are 40. Pay Range:

$129,300 - $177,800 annually, based on location and individual experience. This position includes eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
