Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Denial Specialist to join their remote clinical review team. This role is critical in ensuring that providers and members receive accurate, timely information regarding preservice and concurrent medical reviews. Candidate must have previous experience in Healthcare Denials Experience for this role. ***Hours: Must be flexible to work between 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST***
salary: $21 - $23 per hour shift: First work hours: 12 PM - 9 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
As a remote specialist, your day is focused on high-volume production and technical accuracy. You will manage your own workflow without direct in-office oversight, balancing compliance knowledge with administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Process letters through various platforms (claims, correspondence, and appeals tracking). Manage pending denial letters, urgent escalations, and strict compliance deadlines. Monitor emails for policy shifts, payer updates, or internal regulatory changes. Once fully trained, you will be expected to maintain a steady pace (minimum
4 denial letters
per hour and/or
6-7 approval letters
per hour).
