About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Director for Executive Strategy and Integration. This pivotal role involves working closely with the CEO to ensure that the organization's mission and strategic priorities are effectively translated into action. The successful candidate will be a trusted senior leader, responsible for bringing clarity, structure, and judgment to the CEO's agenda, decisions, and commitments. Key responsibilities include serving as the senior strategist within the Executive Office, anticipating and managing risks that could impact the CEO's effectiveness, and establishing a disciplined decision-making framework. The role also requires the Senior Director to lead the Executive Office team, manage executive coordination, and oversee the preparation for the CEO's public engagements.
Applicants for the Senior Director position should have a minimum of 7 years' of senior leadership experience, preferably in national or global nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate as a trusted advisor, hold senior leaders accountable, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence. A background in conservation, environmental, or adjacent fields is beneficial but not mandatory. The role demands a leader with a superior executive presence, the ability to influence without formal authority, and a proven track record of guiding teams with discretion and executive alignment. The Senior Director will be expected to travel approximately 10-15% of the time and must be prepared to work in a hybrid environment that fosters both virtual and in-person collaboration.
