Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern Specialist will manage and improve all communications flows, within and outside of the company. This role is responsible for promoting a positive public image of the company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop a structured media strategy and plan to increase presence and brand recognition. Create content (still and video) for social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, for example), web sites, brochures, press releases, data sheets and emails campaigns. Drive social media engagement. Work on Marketing and Competitive research. Draft press releases and other marketing related communication. Research potential target markets and competitors. Build internal and external relationships to deliver integrated communication strategies. Gather and analyze data to develop new ideas to improve the go-to-marketing strategy. Collaborate with the sales team and provide customer feedback on the company's products. Apply various social media tactics in creating brand awareness and generating inbound traffic that strengthens company's social media presence. Supervises : None
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Independent time management skills Adept at web searches for customers and competitors Basic knowledge of social media marketing and social media engagement Basic design skills to create web, print and social media content. Skilled at generating and implementing new and unique ideas. Able to maintain confidential information. Analytical thinker who logically breaks down problems and looks for solutions. Flexible to change, and able to multitask and shift project direction on short notice. Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good presentation skills Education, Experience and Training:
Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite. Associate or bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Engineering or Software Development Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
Office environment with heavy computer usage. Ability to sit while working for long periods of time. Other Duties:
