Location: Franklin, Indiana Department: Marketing Compensation Range: Competitive, Based on Experience
Position Overview
Cornett Roofing Systems and Modern Metal Roofing are growing fast, and we are looking for the right marketing person to grow with us. We are not looking for a high-level corporate Marketing Director today.
Instead, we need a mid-level marketing specialist-someone who is hands-on, eager to learn, and capable of executing the core marketing work that drives leads and supports our sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who has real experience in digital marketing (especially Google Ads), is organized, dependable, and wants to grow into a future marketing leadership position over the next few years.
What We Need Most
The single biggest need in this role is someone who understands:
Google Ads and Paid Search
Building and managing campaigns Understanding ad spend and ROI Improving lead quality Making smart adjustments over time If you can own this area, you will bring immediate value.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing Execution (Primary Focus)
Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns Track performance using Google Analytics and reporting tools Support basic SEO and website improvements over time Help generate consistent inbound leads for sales Marketing Support & Content
Assist with social media posting (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) Help create simple marketing materials: flyers, brochures, jobsite signage Coordinate basic photo/video content from projects and installs Support email campaigns and customer follow-up marketing Sales & Team Support
Help the sales team with proposal templates, project spotlights, and customer-facing materials Keep marketing efforts organized and aligned with company priorities Work closely with leadership to learn what works and build consistency Brand Consistency
Maintain a professional, consistent brand across both companies Help with trade show preparation, signage, and promotional materials Who This Role Is For

A mid-level marketer, not yet a director Comfortable executing, not just strategizing Interested in construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades Hungry to grow into a bigger role over time Organized, accountable, and dependable Qualifications
2-5 years of marketing experience (digital marketing strongly preferred) Working knowledge of Google Ads and paid search Familiarity with basic marketing tools (Canva, Meta Business, Google Analytics, etc.) Strong communication and follow-through Willingness to work in-office and stay close to the team and projects
Construction or trades experience is a plus-but not required.
