General Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, and supporting the pre-construction process from bid to award.
Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids Perform quantity takeoffs Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options Collaborate with project managers and field teams Assist with bid preparation and submission Qualifications: 3+ years of construction estimating experience (commercial/residential - specify if needed) Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials Excellent analytical and math skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
