The
Continuous Improvement Specialist Intern
will support CEVA Logistics’ operational excellence initiatives by analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and assisting with the implementation of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world logistics operations and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities Support continuous improvement projects across warehouse, transportation, or supply chain operations Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste Collect, organize, and analyze performance data (KPIs, cycle times, productivity metrics) Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) Participate in Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and process mapping Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management and implementation efforts Prepare reports, presentations, and visual dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations Support safety, quality, and cost-improvement initiatives aligned with CEVA’s operational goals
Qualifications & Skills Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Detail-oriented with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset
