Director of Human Resources - Capital Markets

Overview: Join our client’s dynamic team as the Director of Human Resources in the Capital Markets division. This pivotal leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute talent management strategies across investment teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Compensation: Expected Annual Base Salary: $170,000 - $195,000 (not including a sign on bonus)

Responsibilities: Spearhead targeted recruitment campaigns, including programmatic hiring efforts, and craft customized search strategies for investment and portfolio roles. Cultivate strong relationships with candidates, managing pipelines effectively through agency partnerships and delivering exceptional interview experiences. Oversee every step of the hiring process—from candidate evaluation to offer negotiation—ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. Utilize data analytics to assess and refine recruiting methods, leveraging benchmarks and industry insights to foster continuous improvement. Lead campus recruiting initiatives, managing internship and new graduate programs, including branding and promotional activities. Coordinate onboarding procedures to facilitate a smooth integration for new hires. Drive talent evaluation and development processes, including performance reviews and compensation planning, in collaboration with senior leadership. Design and facilitate training programs, nurturing the growth of investment staff through targeted development initiatives. Manage the Analyst and Associate programs, overseeing the entire candidate lifecycle and engaging senior leadership for long-term talent planning. Enhance the culture by supporting initiatives that promote collaboration, mentorship, and employee engagement through regular feedback and survey analysis. Plan and support team events throughout the year, contributing to a vibrant, connected workplace environment.

Requirements: A minimum of 12 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or talent management, preferably in financial services. Demonstrated expertise in strategic talent acquisition, employee development, and HR leadership. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced education or certifications are a plus. Proven ability to independently lead complex projects with a keen eye for detail and adaptability. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and root cause analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering clear, impactful messages. Discretion in handling confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
