Our client, a successfully growing and expanding global nutraceutical company, is seeking a new Inventory and Portfolio Analyst to join their Houston office. This position will be responsible for closely collaborating with a variety of internal departments to ensure the accuracy of inventory reconciliations and SKU portfolio management.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate closely with a variety of departments to successfully manage end-to-end production and inventory control, reconciliation and reporting Oversee New Production Introduction (NPI) processes, communicating effectively across internal departments to ensure organizational readiness Spearhead SKU portfolio management including rationalization, lifecycle management and performance monitoring Manage Global Material Review Board (MRB) activities which include consolidation and reporting excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory Serve as a process owner for ICFR for Inventory (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting), including documentation, testing and audits Reconcile Net Change Inventory (NCI) through process control, root cause analysis and continuous improvement Monitor supply chain and ERP network design impacts on inventory and serve as a process owner for sample inventory and sample flows
REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years of inventory and financial controlling within a manufacturing environment Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred Hands on ERP experience with inventory and financial data Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Expert skills in Excel using advanced formulas, pivots, data analysis and reconciliations Strong understanding of inventory flows, valuation and controls
