Key Responsibilities Manage a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and development projects. Represent clients in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts on complex real estate matters across multiple jurisdictions. Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, and related contracts. Conduct due diligence, review titles and surveys, analyze zoning requirements, and coordinate with lenders and other parties involved in transactions. Work closely with the real estate team to develop deal strategies, resolve issues, and provide excellent client service. Build and maintain strong client relationships while offering practical, business-focused legal guidance.
Required Experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law. Demonstrated experience handling diverse real estate transactions from start to completion. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented law firm environment. Licensed to practice law in Maine (or eligible for admission). Admission in other New England states is an advantage.
