Customer Service Representative

Position Overview This role blends customer service, order support, and inside sales coordination. The position is primarily

email-driven (roughly 80%) , with additional phone interaction (approximately 20%). Responsibilities include: • Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone • Entering and processing purchase orders (POs) • Preparing and issuing price quotations • Providing product, pricing, and lead time information • Coordinating shipments and tracking orders • Updating customer records and transaction details • Assisting with administrative and office support tasks as needed • Troubleshooting customer issues with a calm, solutions-oriented approach You will work with custom industrial components used in demanding applications, requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication skills.

Training & Development New hires receive structured onboarding and product training. Early responsibilities focus on learning the product line and order processes before gradually expanding into phone support and more complex quoting activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, asks questions, and wants to develop deeper technical and commercial knowledge over time.

Ideal Background • 6+ months of customer service or office support experience • Manufacturing or industrial exposure is helpful but not required • Comfortable working in computer-based systems and Excel • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to remain composed during busy or high-pressure periods • Positive, adaptable, team-oriented attitude
