Mechanical Superintendent
Focus:
Piping, Mechanical Process/Packaging, and HVAC (Food & Beverage experience preferred).
Role Overview The Mechanical Superintendent directs all field operations to ensure safe, timely, and profitable project completion. You will oversee subcontractors and craft labor, managing everything from high-spec piping and equipment setting to structural steel and hydrostatic testing. Core Responsibilities Field Supervision:
Direct daily construction activities, including piping (SS/Carbon/Alloy), rigging, welding, insulation, and coatings. Safety & Quality:
Lead site safety (PTAs/TSOs) and coordinate with QA/QC to verify weld qualifications and code compliance. Project Controls:
Manage 3-week look-aheads, track installed quantities/hours, and maintain daily progress reports/photos. Technical Oversight:
Read/interpret P&IDs and isometrics; witness equipment alignment and sign off on system testing. Contract Management:
Ensure subcontractor compliance, manage RFI responses, and oversee field change orders. Material Logistics:
Verify material deliveries meet specs and ensure proper storage and preventative maintenance. Requirements Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree
+ 7 years of mechanical construction/craft supervision. Associate’s Degree
+ 9 years of experience. HS Diploma
+ 11 years of experience. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read complex structural/mechanical drawings. Leadership:
Strong communication skills and a proven track record in safety leadership. Logistics:
Must meet company driving requirements
