The IT@JH Enterprise Directory and Messaging team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Enterprise Directory & Infrastructure Services Intern

to support projects and daily operational tasks across Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server, and PowerShell-based automation. This role will gain hands-on experience working with server administration and automation.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server administration, including user/group management, server builds, and environment maintenance.

Support cloud and infrastructure projects such as Azure virtual machine deployment, migrations, and system configuration.

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative and operational tasks.

Perform daily operational activities including system updates, troubleshooting, documentation, and monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or graduation equivalent. Some college.

Some experience.

Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

General knowledge of Enterprise Directory systems and server administration.
