Star Nursing Services is hiring a Special Projects Marketing Specialist to support strategic outreach and growth for CalAIM Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Community Supports, and Staffing Services across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), and health systems in Santa Clara county.
This role combines in-field relationship building, health plan partnership support, and brand-aligned marketing outreach.
What You'll Do
Conduct in-person outreach to SNFs, hospitals, assisted living facilities, community agencies, and referral partners Promote Star Nursing's CalAIM services, Community Supports, ECM offerings, staffing capabilities, and facility-specific solutions Build and maintain community and facility relationships that drive referrals and partnerships Represent Star Nursing at facility visits, community events, and meetings Support Member Engagement, LCM teams, and Housing Navigators with coordinated outreach campaigns Develop and distribute marketing materials aligned with health plan messaging requirements Track outreach metrics, facility contact lists, follow-ups, and weekly reporting Collaborate with internal teams on branding, messaging, and targeted campaigns Maintain compliance with health plan communication guidelines Identify opportunities for growth and new partnerships

Frequent in-person visits to SNFs, hospitals, ALFs, and community partners Travel across Santa Clara County multiple times weekly Remote work limited to documentation, planning, and internal meetings Required Qualifications
Experience in healthcare marketing, outreach, community relations, account management, or business development Strong knowledge of: Skilled nursing facilities Assisted living facilities Hospital discharge planning Community-based organizations Ability to communicate effectively with administrators, directors of nursing, social workers, discharge teams, and community partners Experience with outreach campaigns, relationship building, and follow-up execution Understanding of CalAIM, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and Community Supports preferred (training provided) Clear communication, professionalism, and strong organization skills Must reside in Santa Clara County 2 character references
Vaccine Requirements:
Physical (within the last 30 Days) TB Test MMR, Varicella, Hep B or Titers- Vaccination Tdap/Flu (or decline) Covid Fully Vaccinated (or decline) Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
Transportation Requirements
Unrestricted active California driver's license Valid auto insurance Current registration Reliable vehicle
Technology Requirements
Intermediate skills in: Microsoft SharePoint Excel Word Teams Adobe (PDF editing, forms, signatures) Experience with EMR/EHR systems used for CalAIM documentation Minimum PC Specifications
Windows 10 or higher 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended) Intel i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or better 256GB SSD or larger Chromebooks not allowed Screenshot of computer specs required for interview
Education
AA/BA preferred in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Public Health, or related field
Equivalent experience accepted
