Golf Course Player Assistant
The City of Brooklyn Park is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented, enthusiastic individuals to help manage golf events, promote the smooth flow of daily golf rounds, and to help clean, move, and store a fleet of 63 golf carts after daily play. This job posting will be open until all positions are filled. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare course for daily play and/or secure for evening shutdown Greet players/groups as they arrive Provide players with rules and expected pace of play information Provide new players with a special welcome and a quick course overview to assist them with their first round at Edinburgh USA Clean, move and store golf cart fleet after daily play Alert players to any unusual conditions on the course or any potential weather threats Work with and coordinate with golf shop staff to ensure the tee sheet/schedule process is a seamless as possible for the customers Work with the Event Coordinator to set up and prepare for tournaments and corporate golf events Other duties as assigned Minimum and Desired Qualifications

Valid driver's license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to perform the position responsibilities by reading the Player Assistant Manual, instruction from the Director of Golf, direction from staff professionals, and from on-the-job training Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets or exceeds customer and employer expectations Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to meet the physical demands of the position Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperature extremes Proven ability and demonstrated commitment to an inclusive workplace related to racial equity, diversity and inclusion.
