The Role As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for growing consumer brands while actively sourcing and developing your own pipeline. You will prospect into high-potential accounts, run discovery through close, and work directly with founders, CMOs, and digital leaders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hunting, thrives in early-stage environments, and wants to help define how a category is sold.
What You’ll Do Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to close Actively hunt and develop new opportunities within a defined mid-market segment Manage a pipeline of growth-stage consumer brands across CPG Position Novi’s value clearly to senior decision makers including founders and executives Partner with marketing and leadership on account strategy and deal execution Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, forecasting, and activity tracking in HubSpot Contribute feedback on messaging, pricing, and sales process as the team scales
What We’re Looking For 3-6 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or technology-enabled services Proven ability to hunt and self-source pipeline Experience selling to mid-market or growth-stage companies Comfort engaging senior stakeholders and navigating multi-threaded deals Strong discovery, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to explain complex concepts simply and credibly NYC-based or open to a hybrid NYC work environment
Nice to Have Experience selling into ecommerce, retail, or consumer brands Prior experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup
Compensation:
$110,000–$140,000 base with c ompetitive variable comp based on experience
