Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Los Angeles, CA. As an Associate Technical Designer, you will be responsible for supporting the design team in creating detailed technical specifications for garments, collaborating on fittings, and ensuring accuracy in garment construction and patterns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain production standards and uphold the brand's quality standards. Attention to detail and a technical understanding of garment design are essential for this role.

Responsibilities: Support technical designers with tech packs, fittings, and comments. Create tech packs with pertinent construction, specs, and fit information. Compile fit list. Participate in fitting of samples through various stages on live fit model. Receive and send packages of fit samples daily. Work together with Patternmakers and technical designers to address fit issues. Support QC team to review possible quality issues prior shipping. Follow-up on fit samples status and sample x-dates Update tracking reports with tech pack style status daily and follow up on WIP. Maintain organizational archives of Top of Production sample library. Support seniors with TOP comments, PX TPs, and Prod TPs. Send out Prod TPs for recut and reorder styles. Partner with PD on BOM fabric & trim components for sample sending inventory. Creating templates for departmental forms in Excel, Illustrator and Photoshop. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum 2 years in technical design within garment manufacturing Knowledge in the following: Production process in garment manufacturing capacity Measuring garments Completing excel charts, tracking samples Assisting senior technical designers Garment construction Fittings Executing fit comments and working with tech-packs, understand BOMs and patterncards. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office including Excel/Google Sheets

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
