Responsibilities: Trademark & Copyright:
Manage filings, renewals, and portfolio protection. Licensing & Agreements:
Draft and negotiate IP and branding contracts. Brand Protection:
Advise on marketing, advertising, and digital media compliance. Enforcement & Disputes:
Handle infringement risks and support enforcement actions. Due Diligence:
Conduct IP review for transactions and partnerships. Collaboration:
Align IP strategy with creative, marketing, and business teams. Industry Monitoring:
Track trends, competitor activity, and legal developments.
Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on trademark, copyright, branding, or licensing. Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing IP agreements and licenses. Strong knowledge of brand protection, advertising, marketing, and digital media law. Experience with IP enforcement, infringement analysis, and dispute resolution. Excellent communication, collaboration, and client counseling skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios in a fast-paced environment. JD from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
