Account Manager
to join a leading company serving the food processing industry. This role focuses on supporting plant‑level operations, developing customer relationships, and driving strategic sales growth across a multi‑state territory. The ideal candidate lives in
Boise, Twin Falls, or Salt Lake City , but we will also consider candidates with
potato processing experience
in
Washington or Oregon .
Responsabilities Manage and execute
plant‑level sales strategies
to advance institutional sales. Build strong relationships by
visiting customer sites
and understanding real‑world production needs. Identify
Win/Win sales opportunities
and clearly document required resources. Prospect new accounts and position company products, services & solutions. Collaborate using a
team‑based selling approach
to support customer success. Provide leadership with
accurate customer insights & market analysis . Participate in team meetings and practice effective
self‑management .
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Agribusiness, Industrial Distribution, or Sales preferred). 3+ years
of industrial B2B sales or engineering experience. Excellent communicator with strong technical curiosity and learning mindset. Hands‑on, self‑managed, and highly collaborative. Results‑driven with strong relationship‑building skills. Ability to travel
~3 days per week , including overnight stays.
Preferred Experience Food processing or
potato processing
industry experience. Selling industrial equipment, conveyor systems, or capital equipment. Strong interest in technical industrial processes and plant operations.
