Marketing Event Manager
will own the full event lifecycle—from planning and logistics through execution and post-event handoff to sales. You'll manage trade shows, field events, customer onsites, and executive briefings, ensuring every detail is handled and every attendee walks away with a positive impression of WorldTech IT. This role partners closely with our BDR team (who owns pre-event prospecting and post-event follow-up) to maximize the pipeline impact of every event.
Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end logistics for trade shows, field events, customer onsites, and executive briefings • Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, and venue negotiations • Coordinate booth setup, swag, shipping, AV requirements, and on-site meeting schedules • Build and maintain lead-capture workflows; ensure clean data handoff to BDR team in HubSpot/Salesforce • Coordinate booth staff training and ensure team preparedness for each event • Track event registration, attendance, and engagement metrics • Partner with Marketing Ops to measure event attribution and ROI • Analyze event performance (cost-per-lead, attendance rates, satisfaction scores); present quarterly recommendations to leadership • Build and document the Event Operations Playbook for scalable execution
Ideal Skills • 4+ years B2B event management experience (tech industry preferred) • Proven success managing trade shows, field events, and executive briefings • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and event platforms (Splash, Cvent, Goldcast, or similar) • Strong vendor-management and contract-negotiation abilities • Data-driven mindset; comfortable building reports and tracking event ROI • Experience coordinating with sales/BDR teams on lead handoff processes
