Konnect Agency is seeking a strategic Account Supervisor with 5-7 years of PR experience to lead client relationships and drive exceptional PR campaigns that deliver measurable results.
About the Role: As an Account Supervisor, you'll manage a portfolio of clients across multiple industries (CPG, Franchise, Lifestyle), leading integrated communications strategies from concept to execution. You'll mentor account executives and coordinators while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, translating their business objectives into creative, impactful PR programs.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Leading day-to-day client relationships and serving as senior point of contact for key accounts Developing and executing strategic communications plans and PR campaigns Creating and overseeing press materials including press releases, thought leadership content, executive bios, and pitch materials Building and maintaining relationships with top-tier media contacts Leading media outreach strategies and securing high-impact placements Managing project timelines and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction Creating client presentations, strategic plans, and comprehensive wrap reports Monitoring industry trends and identifying proactive story opportunities Responding to complex journalist and client queries with strategic guidance Overseeing and mentoring junior team members on multiple accounts Leading cross-team collaboration and integrated campaigns Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts Participating in new business pitches and agency growth initiatives Conducting competitive analyses and market research to inform strategy Working with the team to ensure all client contacts, materials, and databases are constantly updated Proactively anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations Managing sensitive client matters as needed
Educational and Skills Requirements: 5-7 years of relevant Public Relations agency experience BA in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field Proven track record of managing client accounts and leading successful campaigns Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across all formats Strong media relations skills with established contacts across relevant beats Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business goals into PR solutions Natural leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing junior staff Self-starter with strong ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and be resourceful Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure Sharp attention to detail with ability to grasp big picture strategic objectives Outstanding interpersonal and client management skills Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Ability to work in-office 3-days per week (Los Angeles, NYC)
