Our client, Japanese Electronics manufacturing company, is seeking an account manager in the Schaumburg area with 2-3 years of electronics or OEM sales experience.
Account Manager Location: Schaumburg IL (Hybrid 3 days on site) Type: Full Time Direct Hire Salary: 70-75K
Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers. Develop and execute sales plans to meet targets, KPIs, and company objectives. Serve as the main point of contact for customers Handle technical presentations, product details, and design wins. Build strong, long-term customer partnerships through regular visits and communication. Collaborate with engineering, technical support, manufacturing, distributors, and supply chain teams. Track market trends and competitor activities; share insights with management. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and maintain internal systems. Support international sales efforts in coordination with global teams. Promote new products through presentations, training, and customer events. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 2–3 years of sales experience. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Interest or background in electronics/engineering or OEM background Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits. Japanese language skills (spoken, reading, writing) are a plus but not required.
