We are opening a brand new showroom in Santa Monica and are hiring a consultative, customer-focused Sales Consultant to be the face of our in-person retail experience. What You’ll Do: Lead the Showroom Experience Serve as the primary in-store expert for walk-in customers Deliver personalized consultations and live product demonstrations Guide customers through product selection with confidence and expertise Manage Appointments (In-Person + Virtual) Conduct scheduled consultations via showroom, phone, and video Tailor recommendations based on customer needs and space constraints Support customers from discovery through purchase decision Drive Sales Through Follow-Up Re-engage warm and inactive leads Support both online and in-store sales initiatives Maintain consistent CRM follow-up Support Retail Operations Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards Assist with inventory and opening/closing procedures Occasionally support local events or tradeshows Deliver a Premium Customer Experience Build trust through product knowledge and consultative selling Provide post-purchase support to ensure long-term satisfaction
What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of face-to-face retail sales experience (luxury, home goods, wellness, sporting goods, or similar preferred) Strong consultative sales skills (not transactional selling) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using CRM and sales software tools Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs Preferred Experience: Tradeshow or event sales experience Experience in premium home, spa, or outdoor products
Compensation:
As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and education/certification(s). OTE: $66,000 Base: $23–$27 per hour Commission: $10/$1000 booked revenue
