Lead Salesperson / Sales Estimator Asphalt & Pavement MaintenanceRole SummaryThe Lead Salesperson is responsible for driving revenue growth by independently identifying opportunities, developing relationships, estimating work, and closing commercial asphalt and pavement maintenance projects. This role owns the full sales cycle and is expected to produce immediate revenue impact.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new commercial and municipal sales opportunitiesConduct site visits and scope projectsPrepare accurate estimates and bidsClose work and build long-term customer relationshipsDevelop and manage personal sales pipeline year-roundFocus on commercial growth over residentialCoordinate internally to ensure smooth project handoffRevenue ExpectationsYear 1 target: $1.5M in booked workLong-term: scale to $2M+ annuallyRequired ExperienceProven experience in asphalt, paving, or related construction salesAbility to independently prospect and close businessStrong estimating and job-scoping skillsExisting industry relationships preferredCompensation (Target Range)Total compensation: $100k$125kStructure options:Base salary + ~5% commissionMonthly stipend + higher commission (performance-weighted)Quarterly or annual performance incentivesSuccess ProfileSelf-starter with strong networking instinctsComfortable with face-to-face selling and relationship buildingResults-driven; accountable for own leads and outcomesCapable of operating with minimal supervisionGrowth PathShort-term: replicate and exceed current sales capacityMid-term: help formalize sales systems and CRMLong-term: potential leadership role as sales organization scales
