Job Summary
An Inside Sales Specialist builds our overall sales revenue by calling on potential businesses to sell Bailey products and
equipment. This role is focused on building business relationships, generating quotes and orders to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiates, manages, and develops business while possessing a sense of urgency and meticulous follow-up
- Grows and maintains customer base to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals cultivates and maintains long term, professional relationships with customers with the intent to grow sales and help customers achieve their growth objectives
- Attends and participates in Trade Shows to effectively and appropriately represent Bailey and its products
- Conducts cold calls in a targeted sales effort and establish community contacts
- Cultivate leads and seek out new business opportunities by developing a referral network that can generate leads
- Initiates phone calls and manage mailers for potential business
- Answers phone calls from customers on a multi-line phone system
- Follows up on all leads and referrals resulting from outbound calls or from in-bound leads
- Helps determine type of products that will best match customers' needs
- Establishes and maintains both current and potential customer relationships
- Maintains customer record logs, and lists electronically
- Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity follow-up and adherence to goals
- Works independently and make proactive sales decisions in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintains customer base to ensure sales volumes are steady or increasing
- Develop relationships in a sales focus with customer base to encourage future business
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of work-related experience in a sales or customer service role
- Working knowledge of NetSuite
- Bi-lingual speaking (fluent in Spanish/English or French/English)
- Hydraulics industry experience
- Works autonomously and collaboratively in a fast past environment while maintaining a professional and upbeat attitude
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Sits in an office environment and/ or in front of a computer for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong phone and active listening skills
