Position Summary
The Exam Content Specialist plays a crucial role in developing high-quality examinations. Your primary responsibilities will encompass creating exam blueprints, writing exam items, and overseeing the exam delivery process. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts worldwide to ensure that examination materials are relevant, challenging, and rigorously developed. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain examination content for ISC2 credentials.
Manage and update Reference Material Libraries to ensure they are accurate and current.
Conduct administration and reporting for the item bank.
Review and validate examination items throughout the development process, ensuring precision and alignment with industry standards.
Address candidate feedback regarding exam delivery, investigate issues, and implement necessary improvements.
Organize and facilitate examination development workshops, whether remote, virtual, or in-person.
Ensure the security of the item bank and workshops according to established guidelines.
Collaborate with various ISC2 units to gather and disseminate content, analytical, and scheduling information, ensuring a smooth certification process.
Partner with vendors to enhance the test development and delivery workflow.
Support the development of examination administration and security policies and documents.
Work with other ISC2 teams to produce and maintain candidate information bulletins and public documents related to credentialing exams.
Adhere to ANSI requirements related to ISC2 qualifications while maintaining clear boundaries between test development and educational initiatives.
Create instructional materials for volunteers involved in item development.
Assist with activities related to examination adaptation and workshop facilitation.
Support examination forensic processes and concerns related to test invalidation.
Foster a diverse and inclusive work atmosphere.
Perform additional duties as needed.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field is essential.
CISSP certification is mandatory; additional cybersecurity certifications, especially from ISC2, are preferred.
A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in information security is required.
Experience in public speaking and presentations is highly favored.
Physical and Mental Demands
Willingness to travel up to 15%, including potential international travel.
Availability to work standard business hours and during extended hours when needed, including weekends and holidays.
Able to maintain proficiency in desk work for extended periods.
Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers and monitors.
Capacity to operate electronic devices with dexterity.
