Job Description Summary: The Director of Data Center Reliability Operations plays a vital role in ensuring the exceptional performance and reliability of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems throughout Oracle's extensive data center network. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for maintaining MEP systems to the highest standards, adhering to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines, and working closely with internal and external partners to drive operational excellence in the industry. Key Responsibilities: MEP Infrastructure Maintenance:

Lead and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all data center MEP assets, ensuring compliance with Oracle and OEM protocols.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with Vendor Management and Engineering teams to optimize equipment selection, timely integration of OEM updates, and identify potential risks.

Service Delivery & Validation:

Oversee System Capacity and Compliance Studies (SCCS) and validate service delivery strategies to ensure operational readiness and capacity.

End-of-Life Planning & Quality Assurance:

Direct the end-of-life (EOL) process, ensuring thorough quality assurance alongside Engineering for the retirement and refresh of equipment.

Day 2 Operations Management:

Manage operational challenges post-deployment to prevent impacts to critical IT loads, ensuring seamless business continuity.

Incident Management:

Serve as the escalation point and leader for incident response, supervising tier 2 technical support and overseeing the development of Facility Operations Centers across the Oracle data center portfolio.

Building Automation & Centralized Services:

Head the Building Automation Operations team to maintain consistent operational standards and enhance response capabilities across all facilities.

Continuous Improvement:

Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and innovation by establishing best practices and driving ongoing enhancements in operational reliability.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Over 10 years of progressive experience in data center operations or facilities management, with substantial leadership experience.

Proficient technical knowledge of MEP systems and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and OEM standards.

Demonstrated experience in service delivery planning, incident management, and leading cross-disciplinary teams.

Strong analytical and project management skills with outstanding organizational abilities.

Experience managing building automation systems and centralized monitoring systems (BMS, SCADA, CMMS).

Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, along with strong stakeholder management abilities.

Proven track record in vendor management and oversight of contracts.

Preferred Attributes: Professional certifications such as CFM, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent are a plus.

Experience in large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure environments.

A strong understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and end-of-life asset strategies.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this role is $161,700 to $338,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity, and deferred compensation.
