Team Summary:
The Marketing Data Operations Team is essential in managing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the Marketing Database for our organization. This role encompasses the processes used to effectively collect, ingest, process, store, analyze, and distribute data, ensuring it meets the needs of Enterprise Marketing.
Role Summary:
As a Marketing Data Insights Analyst, you will report to the Marketing Data Operations Lead and leverage data to enhance our marketing campaigns through strategic segmentation, audience creation, and robust database management. You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with regional marketing teams to align data strategies with their objectives. Your responsibilities include ensuring marketing database integrity, developing targeted audience segments, and innovating segmentation strategies for email campaigns.
Work Schedule:
This position requires working hours aligned with the US Eastern Time Zone to effectively support operations across the Canadian and LATAM markets.
Core Responsibilities:
Commit to maintaining high data quality standards, facilitating accurate audience segmentation reporting and analysis.
Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality within the marketing database to optimize audience engagement and utilization.
Develop and deploy segmentation models that enhance audience targeting efforts.
Act as a strategic advisor to regional marketers, translating their goals into actionable audience targeting strategies.
Initiate and maintain strong communication with the marketing team to define audience criteria, ensuring collaborative alignment with regional marketing priorities.
Work with marketers to create and test new audience segments, presenting innovative solutions to drive database performance and engagement.
Conduct regular training sessions for the marketing team to enhance their understanding and effective use of the marketing database.
Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, concerning both new data and existing data in the marketing database.
Collaborate with the Data Operations Team and cross-functional IT and Data Teams to keep the marketing database current and aligned with organizational needs.
Analyze lead flow and database health to uncover opportunities for market expansion in targeted regions.
Key Skills:
Over 5 years of experience working with large-scale B2C and B2B databases.
Proven success in collaborating with marketing teams to enhance campaign conversion rates through data-driven segmentation.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights as clear, actionable business recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of marketing data sources, tools, and technologies, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and BI reporting tools.
Proficiency in SQL and applying it to marketing scenarios such as churn prediction and persona development.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum: $76,800.00
Maximum: $186,200.00
This salary range reflects base salary, bonus, and equity value, recognizing that starting pay will be based on qualifications and experience. Our compensation structure varies by location, and candidates in other regions may have different salary ranges.
