Client Relations Associate
Join our team at Roses/Roses Express as a Client Relations Associate, where you'll be instrumental in providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Your role will involve warmly welcoming customers, helping them select their ideal merchandise, processing transactions, and sharing information about our range of offerings. Additionally, you will assist with unloading shipments, managing inventory, and restocking shelves to create a fantastic shopping environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a positive and engaging atmosphere for customers.
Help maintain a tidy and organized store to improve the shopping experience.
Assist in unloading shipment trucks, organizing inventory, and transferring items from the stockroom to the sales floor.
Proactively stock shelves and recover merchandise throughout the store.
Efficiently process transactions and handle customer payments using our POS system.
Monitor customer activity to ensure a safe shopping experience.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support smooth store operations.
Position Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to follow directions and understand retail operational documents as needed. Experience:
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or drug store settings is a plus. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 55 lbs., from floor level to above shoulder height; must be capable of meeting the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability:
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including full-time or part-time hours across all days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills and Competencies:
Strong customer orientation, capability to develop others, results-oriented, excellent organizational skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, pertinent job knowledge, and relationship management. Working Conditions: Work in a retail store environment with extended periods of standing. The stockroom may have temperature variations. Frequent lifting and moving of merchandise and displays are required. Exposure to dust and extreme temperatures may occur while unloading trailers.
