Social Media Manager

to help us build and maintain our online presence as we launch new programs, events, and initiatives. As a volunteer, you’ll help shape the voice of our organization across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube-expanding our reach and deepening our connection with supporters, students, and partners. Responsibilities Develop and implement a weekly content calendar across 2-3 platforms Create engaging posts, stories, and reels that align with our brand and mission Collaborate with the founder on campaign ideas and announcements Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track analytics Support campaigns for fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and program updates Help maintain visual consistency using Canva or other design tools Ideal Candidate Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (YouTube is a plus) Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills Experience with Canva, Buffer/Later, or similar scheduling tools Passion for youth empowerment, education, or media Self-starter with good time management and communication skills What You’ll Gain Real-world nonprofit marketing experience Opportunity to build your portfolio and grow with a rising organization A direct impact on empowering the next generation of female creatives LinkedIn reference or letter of recommendation upon successful completion
