ABOUT THE JOB Tapcheck is looking for a Sr. Performance Marketing Contractor to own and optimize our paid search programs across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on execution and optimization. This is a 6-month part‑time contract role (approximately 15–20 hours per week) with opportunity for additional hours and transition to full time employee based on performance outcomes and business needs.

This is a highly hands‑on, execution‑focused role ideal for a seasoned performance marketer who enjoys operating independently, digging deep into data, and continuously improving efficiency and lead quality. If hours are available, this role may secondarily support LinkedIn ads.

You’ll work closely with our Demand Generation team to ensure paid search channels are running efficiently while driving qualified leads and measurable impact across the full funnel— not just top‑of‑funnel volume.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own day‑to‑day management and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with secondary support for LinkedIn Ads if capacity allows

Continuously optimize account structure, keywords, bids, budgets, ad copy, and landing page performance

Maintain strong alignment between keywords, ads, and landing pages to support strong Quality Scores and conversion rates

Manage budget pacing and implement optimizations to maximize efficiency and impact

Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting across paid search channels

Proactively surface insights and lead data‑driven testing across ads, messaging, audiences, and landing pages in partnership with Demand Generation

Partner with Demand Generation and RevOps to align campaigns with pipeline and revenue goals

Analyze performance and deliver bi‑weekly performance reporting, including performance to goal, insights, learnings, and next‑step recommendations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

4 – 7 years of hands‑on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads for B2B companies

Strong proficiency in campaign analysis, keyword research, bid strategy, and budget management

Experience working with analytics and tracking tools, including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and CRM integrations (Salesforce and/or HubSpot)

Working knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, including audience strategy, bidding, and creative testing

Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect channel performance to Lead, MQL, and Opportunity outcomes

Experience with Salesforce reports and dashboards

Comfortable operating independently in a contractor capacity, managing priorities and delivering against expectations

Experience optimizing for lead quality, not just volume (MQLs, SQLs, opportunities)

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and disciplined in execution and reporting

Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when summarizing performance, insights, and next steps

Experience supporting landing page optimization or CRO initiatives is a plus.
