Teammate Relations Consultant
to join a
healthcare
company located in
Birmingham, AL
through a remote, temporarycontract position. The
Teammate Relations Consultant
will partner with HR leaders to conduct investigations, ensure compliant and equitable policies and practices, and drive enterprise-wide teammate relations strategy and processes.
Responsibilities of the Teammate Relations Consultant include:
Reporting to the Director of Teammate Relations, the TM Relations Consultant leads comprehensive, end-to-end teammate investigations in alignment with SCAH policies and procedures and supports all policy and compliance-related initiatives and activities within SCAH HR
Partner across the enterprise—from Field to Support Services—handling sensitive and confidential matters while conducting high-quality, professional, and impartial investigations into complex teammate relations issues, including clear reporting and recommendations.
Serve as a subject matter expert on policy interpretation, consulting with HR Business Partners and COEs on leave of absence and workers’ compensation matters, and ensuring consistent, compliant guidance aligned with federal, state, and local laws.
Analyze data to identify trends and hotspots, proactively recommending training, education, and other programs to strengthen teammate relations and mitigate risk.
Support compliance initiatives and audit responses, collaborate with Legal and Compliance stakeholders, and continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance partnership and service delivery.
Qualifications for the Teammate Relations Consultant include:
Bachelor’s Degree is desired (BA or BS)
5+ years of Human Resources or teammate support knowledge
Prior experience in Employee Confidentiality and Employee Relations, specifically in investigating employee issues in a diverse environment
Knowledge of any or all the following platforms favored: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, iCIMS and UltiPro
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation/Schedule for the Teammate Relations Consultant includes:
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Working Hours: 8am-5pm Central Time, Monday through Friday
