Maintenance Director
to join our team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a proven track record in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. This role requires hands-on expertise in conducting repairs and renovations, with a focus on maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks. Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities. Conduct repairs and renovations as needed, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and generators. Coordinate unit turns efficiently to prepare living spaces for new residents. Ensure compliance with life safety codes and regulations. Prepare for and support surveys and inspections, maintaining readiness at all times. Develop and implement emergency planning procedures to ensure resident and staff safety. Collaborate with senior living healthcare teams to support facility operations (senior living healthcare experience preferred). Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and generators. Knowledge of life safety codes and emergency planning. Experience with unit turns and facility renovations. Senior living healthcare experience is preferred. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to prepare for and manage survey readiness.
