Role Overview:
As an Automotive Parts Specialist, you will be a key player in our DIY business, utilizing your automotive expertise and exceptional customer service skills. This full-time position requires in-depth knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and the ability to assist customers with various DIY projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
Meet personal and store sales objectives while delivering top-notch service.
Manage DIY services including battery installations, testing, and wiper replacements.
Uphold high standards in customer service and store appearance.
Take on key holder responsibilities including overseeing task assignments, store safety, and opening/closing duties.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in inventory management tasks such as receiving deliveries, conducting cycle counts, and organizing back stock.
Ensure the store remains clean and well-maintained, including all public areas.
Provide hands-on assistance with DIY services as needed.
Success Factors:

Ability to efficiently locate and stock parts.
Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
Proficiency in operating store systems and equipment.
Expertise in automotive systems, including diagnostics and parts sourcing.
Essential Skills:
Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics, including engines, suspension, brakes, and electronics.
Effective English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Aptitude for reading and interpreting both technical documents and procedural manuals.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations relevant to the job.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
The capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
Proven ability to drive sales and complete customer transactions.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
ASE certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
This role may require the ability to lift and handle various parts and equipment.
