Senior Cloud Solutions Architect . In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving growth within our partner ecosystem and enhancing the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, supporting vital unclassified and classified missions. This position works closely with Alliance/Partner leaders, Product, Field Sales, and Solutions Engineering to empower partner-led initiatives on Oracle's government cloud environments, including those linked to the DoD and other secure (Top Secret) areas. We are looking for candidates who thrive in dynamic technical environments and are eager for opportunities to grow. Successful candidates will be motivated self-starters who excel at problem-solving and possess a strong curiosity about the potential offered by cloud technology. This position is remote with up to 50% travel required. Candidates should ideally be based in Virginia or North Carolina for occasional in-office meetings. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Building and nurturing relationships with strategic Alliance Partners and collaborating across various organizational levels to understand and meet their strategic goals through effective solution design.

Engaging with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and transform mission needs into actionable cloud solutions. Assist with implementations and ensure successful deployments.

Showcasing product and application expertise through customized presentations for customers and events.

Guiding customers from Proof of Concept (POC) to full production deployment, focusing on resource configuration, planning, and education/training.

Contributing significantly to technical responses for solicitations such as RFI, RFQ, and RFP, as well as drafting whitepapers.

Playing a key role in developing new solutions, products, and processes while keeping abreast of emerging technologies.

Serving as an authority on technical cloud solutions to drive customer success and provide specialized expertise.

Identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps based on customer feedback.

What You Will Bring (Required): 5+ years of experience working with the Federal Government is essential.

Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

8+ years of experience collaborating with Partners and ISVs.

Strong knowledge and experience with public cloud providers, including Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with their architectural frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Experience leading discovery sessions with customers, contributing to business process workflows and architecture diagrams.

Experience in rearchitecting systems to adopt cloud-native architectures.

Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures, including full and split-stack deployments.

Experience in sizing and pricing hardware, software, and cloud requirements.

Strong understanding of IaaS components: networking, VPNs, firewalls, identity management, containers, orchestration (K8s), and encryption.

In-depth knowledge of Modern Data Platform architectures, including data ingestion, integration, security, analytics, etc.

Experience monitoring infrastructure performance using monitoring and alerting tools.

Ability to design resilient architectures that meet COOP, RTO, and RPO requirements.

8+ years of experience in effectively communicating technical information through presentations, written communication, and consultative strategies.

Willingness to travel up to 50% when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits: The compensation range for this position is $141,800 to $232,200 annually, with additional equity and commission opportunities also available.
