Opportunity Overview This role is centered in our rapidly expanding Salesforce practice, which focuses on comprehensive Salesforce.com implementations. Your role will begin post-sale as the primary contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. As a Senior Application Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and integrating user interfaces for diverse platforms, utilizing agile methodologies to create technological solutions driving organizational revenue. Your Key Responsibilities In this position, you will: Identify client requirements to develop crucial front-end components and services. Define and execute project deliverables with a focus on efficiency. Manage project completion and maintain engagement reports. Participate actively in client meetings as a team member or lead. Be available for travel as required to meet client needs. Skills and Attributes for Success To excel in this role, a combination of technical and interpersonal skills is essential: Superb oral and written communication skills; comfort leading discussions with various audiences. Experience in leading discovery meetings to ascertain system requirements. Proven experience with Salesforce (SFDC) CRM and participation in multiple end-to-end implementations. Experience with Salesforce integrations and various middleware tools. Deep familiarity with Salesforce technologies, including APEX APIs, VisualForce, and more. Hands-on experience with configuring Salesforce.com and related workflows. Ability to design solutions on the Salesforce platform and identify performance gaps. Experience working collaboratively with developers on specifications for custom code or data migration. Ability to manage project resources and timelines effectively. A knack for risk identification and mitigation strategies. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Business Systems or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience implementing Salesforce.com in team settings. Familiarity with relational database concepts. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent leadership and client relationship-building skills. Salesforce certifications. Willingness to travel as needed to meet client demands. Preferred Qualifications Degree emphasis in fields such as Computer Science or IT; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
