As a Senior Manager of Sales Planning & PSI Management, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and governing Sales Planning, PSI (Purchase, Sales, Inventory) management, and pricing operations across Kyocera Document Solutions America (KDA) its US-based Subsidiaries and overseas Sales Companies. You will be responsible for owning the planning frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures that enable disciplined execution, proactive risk management, and informed decision-making. In this role, you will influence and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure sustainable business performance, accurate forecasting, and optimal inventory levels.
Leveraging your process-oriented and analytical mindset, you will design and continuously refine planning processes, enhance systems and data frameworks, and translate complex data into actionable insights for business leaders. You will balance strategic ownership with effective execution—anticipating risks, identifying root causes, and driving corrective and preventive actions across Sales Planning and Supply Chain operations. You are highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented, yet able to step back and see the bigger picture, connecting data, strategy, and execution. Through this approach, you will lead meaningful change, strengthen governance, and drive scalable, repeatable processes that support both short-term performance and long-term business objectives.
Responsibilities Sales Planning
Design, propose, and continuously refine sales planning methodologies to ensure accurate, consistent, and actionable sales forecasts across KDA and its Sales Companies.
Drive the creation of monthly, quarterly, and long-term sales revenue forecasts for Kyocera Document Solutions America (KDA) and the parent company in Japan (KDC), ensuring alignment with agreed methodologies and assumptions.
Analyze revenue and profit performance for KDA sales organizations and Sales Companies, identify business issues and root causes, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders.
Lead the creation of sales-related financial plans, budgets, and targets, ensuring consistency between forecasts and financial planning.
Work closely with Finance to coordinate accruals, validate forecast assumptions, and support audits of financial results and performance.
Supply Chain Management
Strategic Ownership & Governance
Design and own a robust end-to-end PSI planning and execution framework to proactively prevent excess inventory and backorders, ensuring optimal inventory levels across KDA, US-based Subsidiaries, and overseas Sales Companies.
Establish clear governance and escalation mechanisms to enable early detection of inventory risks, quantitative assessment of business impact, and timely cross-functional alignment on corrective actions.
Drive preventive measures when risks of excess inventory are identified, and lead cross-functional inventory reduction initiatives when excess or aged inventory materializes.
Strengthen PSI planning and execution governance across Subsidiaries and Sales Companies through direct leadership.
Continuously monitor external factors such as tariffs, logistics costs, and regulatory changes that may impact supply chain costs, and lead timely impact analysis and response in collaboration with Finance, IT, and Management teams.
Operational Management
Ensure proper supply chain management practices are followed across KDA, including its US-based Subsidiaries and overseas Sales Companies.
Oversee forecasting and ordering to factories and third-party suppliers to maximize sales while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Oversee inventory management and collaborate with related organizations to drive corrective action plans for excess, aging inventory, and backorders.
Ensure visibility and accountability by monitoring and reporting supply chain status, including orders, shipments, receipts, and backorders.
Partner with IT to design and enhance data infrastructure, tools, and systems supporting accurate analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of supply chain operations.
Lead supply chain process improvement initiatives and system implementations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Monitor landed costs, freight contracts, and export control compliance in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Pricing
Manage standard and factory order pricing for KDA and its Sales Companies.
Propose pricing methodology improvements to management.
Collaborate with KDC to develop and manage support programs such as achievement bonuses, special tender support, and promotions.
Manage special price programs and promotion.
Act as business owner of the special price approval application.
Provide business case and pricing analysis on special HW/Software customization projects.
Relationships
Regular interactions with Sales organization in KDA, Subsidiaries and Sales Companies.
Daily interactions with Sales Division Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Directors, and Area Sales Managers.
Regular interaction with our parent company in Japan.
Regular interactions with other internal organizations such as Marketing, IT, Logistics, and Legal.
Qualifications Required:
PSI Planning & Execution / Supply Chain
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
5+ years of hands‑on experience in PSI planning and execution, including demand planning, inventory management, and supply planning.
Proven experience managing and optimizing PSI processes to prevent excess inventory, aging inventory, and backorders.
Solid knowledge of inventory management and optimization techniques.
Experience with supply chain management systems such as SAP, JDA, Oracle, or equivalent.
Analytics & Systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis, advanced formulas, and dynamic spreadsheets.
Advanced experience using PivotTables for analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI (required).
Leadership & Execution
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving process improvement projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and guide team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel with strong time and project management skills.
Professional Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and develop data‑driven recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Experience with PSI planning and execution that includes overseas sourcing and international logistics (imports, ocean freight, landed cost considerations).

The typical pay range for this role is $109,000 -$136,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.
