About Your Role:

Affinity Solutions is looking for a Senior Director, Software Engineering to build and drive a team responsible for multidirectional integrations of its unique purchase-data based media and marketing solutions within the broader adtech/martech ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, proven technical leader with prior experience in managing software, cloud-services development teams, and direct technical expertise in API development, integration with third‑party systems in adtech space, and data‑related software development.

Your Responsibilities:

Product Development and Delivery

Partner with product management to understand current product functionality and roadmap requirements

Drive engineering delivery from beta through general availability across multiple product releases

Ecosystem Integrations

Lead integrations with major adtech/martech platforms (e.g., LiveRamp XMI)

Manage clean room integrations, such as AWS Clean Rooms and Amazon Marketing Cloud

Oversee Conversions API (CAPI) integrations with walled garden platforms

Build and maintain data connectivity solutions with intermediaries like LiveRamp and MadConnect

Identify and prioritize new integration channels based on client and business needs

Technical Leadership

Provide architectural and design guidance for scalable, cloud‑based products

Assess and evolve the existing technology stack; develop upgrade and modernization plans

Standardize engineering practices to improve modularity, scalability, and delivery velocity

Work with executive leadership to define strategic technical direction and integration roadmap

Team Leadership and Development

Lead and grow a distributed engineering organization through hiring, coaching, and mentorship

Establish clear goals, operational processes, and accountability frameworks

Promote a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing engineering environment

Your Qualifications:

Leadership and Architecture

8+ years defining and delivering software architectures, technical strategies, and enterprise‑scale solutions

4+ years leveraging public cloud platforms to build scalable, resilient SaaS products.

Experience leading distributed engineering teams and aligning with executive stakeholders on technical decisions

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in one or more of the following: Node.js, Python, SQL, scripting languages, Big Data systems, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS services, REST API development, Amazon EMR, Apache Spark

Hands‑on experience with API integrations, including REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and CAPI implementations

Experience with clean room/privacy‑preserving data platforms (AWS Clean Rooms, Amazon Marketing Cloud, or similar)

Familiarity with adtech/martech platforms such as LiveRamp, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads

Background designing high‑performance, high‑volume cloud architectures across AWS or other major cloud environments

Communication and Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Ability to articulate technical decisions and tradeoffs to both technical and executive stakeholders

Experience partnering with product management, architects, and technical leads to guide product development

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing enterprise software, including REST APIs, CAPI integrations, and clean room technologies

Experience in integrating with marketing technology and walled garden ecosystems

Experience in adtech, martech, or large‑scale consumer data analytics

Salary Range:

$190,000 – $205,000 Office Hours:

9am – 5:30pm
