Syntiant Corporation seeks a Director, Solution Architecture in Irvine, CA.
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise technology architecture roadmap, aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
Oversee the solution architecture team in defining, designing, and documenting complex technology solutions across diverse domains (specify relevant domains if applicable).
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
Evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies, platforms, and cloud solutions (if applicable) for specific business needs.
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
Lead solution design workshops and actively manage the solution design lifecycle. Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
Mentor and coach solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Manage vendor relationships with key technology partners. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the architecture remains adaptable and futureproof.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Develop and manage the solution architecture budget.
Lead presentations and discussions on technical solutions and architectural decisions.
Requires a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field or foreign equivalent and three years in a Senior Solution Architecture or related occupation.
Experience must include managing complex solutions, guiding teams, and making high-impact architectural decisions.
Utilizing system design principles, scalability, security, and performance optimization; designing and implementing complex technology solutions across various technology domains (cloud, on-premise, hybrid).
Using solution architecture methodologies including TOGAF or Zachman Framework; and working with cloud computing principles and their integration into solutions.
